Headteacher's Welcome

Floreat Montague Park staff are committed to their continued professional learning. We are mindful of the natural development of children; whilst we are clear we have a duty to prepare children for the time they leave at age 11, we recognise it is important to embrace and enjoy everything at its right time. Children have a natural compulsion to find out and investigate for themselves; our curriculum will meet this need by providing a practical, hands-on approach to learning.

At Floreat Montague Park, we all understand the importance of learning and value our school; we are ambitious for all adults and children to reach their full potential. This will mean that all children are well prepared to succeed in their next school. In many ways their primary education at Floreat Montague Park is a foundation for the independence they will need at 11 years of age. Our aim is to nurture the whole child so we will work to develop their spiritual, artistic and musical as well as academic potential.

Our relationship with families is strong and parents come into school every day to work with our team. We see this as a partnership and we are committed to this principle. You are invited to join us in this collaborative work. There will be plenty of opportunities to speak to the staff; you may join the school as a regular volunteer; many of you will follow our daily work through live broadcasts and join the daily discussions on social media; I hope you will all become involved with our PTFA so we can continue to strengthen our community and provide funds for our exceptional curriculum.

I look forward to meeting new families considering Floreat Montague Park for their children. If you would like the opportunity to meet the staff and children who will be pleased to tell you about their wonderful school, please book a tour of the school.

    Best Wishes
