GLF Schools

GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Getting to School

We would like our children to walk, scoot or cycle to school whenever possible.

We provide detailed information on sustainable methods of travelling to school, including detailed maps of local footpaths and alleyways:

Getting to Floreat Montague Park

Scooters and Bicycles

Children are able to leave their scooters and bikes at school in the cycle racks provided. They are able to use their bikes and scooters at break and lunch times.

Park and Stride

There are three park and stride options available please click on this link for more information.

Parking

We are not able to arrange parking for parents in the school car park due to lack of spaces. Parents or grandparents with disabilities and a Blue Badge may park in the designated spaces. Parking is available in the surrounding streets. We would ask that you park carefully and considerately for the residents of these streets.

Walking Bus

In order to support families that do not live close to the school, we would like to offer a Walking Bus service. It is organised by parents. We have not agreed the start points and will update the page here when this is in place. The children will be given high visibility jackets to wear.
