Individual Music Tuition & Rocksteady
At Floreat Montague Park, we strongly believe that every child should have the opportunity to experience the joy of learning a musical instrument.
We are proud to support and encourage music-making across our school, offering high‑quality opportunities for pupils to explore, express themselves and grow as musicians. We do this through hosting a private music tutor and a Rock Steady Music School band.
Individual Music Lessons
We host a private music tutor who can provide the following instrumental lessons in school for Reception and above:
- Piano
- Singing
- Recorder
- Guitar/Ukulele
- Drums
Why choose individual or small‑group lessons?
Learning an instrument is fun, rewarding and academically beneficial. It can improve:

Lessons take place on a rotating timetable, ensuring children don’t miss the same class each week. Both individual and small‑group sessions are available.

RockSteady Music School Band
For children who thrive in a group environment, or dream of performing on stage, Rocksteady Music School provides weekly in‑school band lessons designed to build confidence, creativity and a sense of belonging.
Children choose from instruments such as:
- Drums
- Electric guitar
- Keyboard
- Vocals
…and play in a real band with their friends.
