GLF Schools

GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Uniform

The key rationale behind our uniform policy is: -

  • practicality
  • affordability
  • togetherness and
  • looking smart!

All pupils are required to dress according to the uniform requirements detailed below.

Friends of Floreat Montague Park (FOFMP) currently sell good-quality second hand uniform of the first Friday of every month, by the back of the school hall.

If any family needs support to provide a full uniform, this should be discussed with the Headteacher, who will be considerate and assist where possible.

  • All items of clothing must be clearly named. This enables pupils to identify their clothing and allows for articles to be traced and returned. Any unnamed items will be placed in our lost property box, with any unclaimed items being disposed of at the end of each term.

  • Jewellery is not permitted, except for a wrist watch or a single small stud in each ear. These must be removed, or covered over with tape, during PE.

  • Nail polish or make up is not permitted to be worn in school. Long hair should be tied back.

  • The school does not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to school uniforms. Please encourage your child to look after their belongings.

School uniform from Stevensons can be bought online or in store. The nearest store to Floreat Montague Park is Stevensons Reading, which can be visited at 11-12 Market Place, RG1 2EG.

They can be contacted by email at readingbranch@stevensons.co.uk or by phone on 01189 596462.
