GLF Schools

GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

We regard parents and carers as core partners in shaping and growing Floreat Montague Park Primary School and will encourage parental involvement wherever appropriate.

The school will:

  • Observe the Code of Conduct
  • Be courteous and polite to everyone
  • Invite parents and carers to become involved in the life of our school
  • Be open and welcoming
  • Contact the parents and carers if there are any concerns about welfare, attendance, punctuality or equipment
  • Produce an Annual Report on progress and attainment and provide opportunities for discussion
  • Inform parents and carers regularly about school activities and special events through newsletters and notices
  • Teach a broad and balanced curriculum fulfilling statutory requirements
  • Observe the procedures in place for use of our school grounds
  • Help keep our school clean and tidy

The parent / carer will:

  • Encourage their child to follow the Code of Conduct
  • Be courteous and polite to everyone
  • Ensure their child attends school and are punctual and inform the school if they are absent
  • Observe the school dress code
  • Discuss concerns or problems that might affect their child’s work or behaviour
  • Observe the school’s policies
  • Support their child with home learning
  • Attend Family Learning sessions and parents’ evenings to discuss their child’s progress
  • Ensure all their contact details are kept up to date with the School Office
  • Ensure their child is supervised at all times when in the school grounds
  • Help keep the school clean and tidy
  • Read and sign the Online Safety and acceptable use of IT Agreement

The child will:

  • Observe the Code of Conduct
  • Be courteous and polite to everyone
  • Value all property and use equipment responsibly
  • Observe the school dress code
  • Bring in and take home their school diary and reading book daily
  • Make sure they are with an adult if they are in our school grounds
  • Help keep our school clean and tidy
  • Make the most of school
  • Read and sign the Online Safety and acceptable use of IT Agreement
