GLF Schools

GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

1:1 SEND Learning Assistant

Olivia Garnett

Olivia joined the SEN team at Floreat in November 2021 and has really enjoyed working on a 1:1 basis. Olivia graduated with a BA Hons in Drama and Theatre studies from Royal Holloway University after completing a year abroad at the University of California, Santa Barbara. She then went on to teach English as Foreign Language to children of varied ages in China whilst also training in Counselling with Oxbridge. In September 2020, Olivia joined The Mustard Tree Foundation as a mentor to help inspire vulnerable young adults to rejoin education and/or employment. She has worked with children of all ages in many different capacities from mentoring to teaching bushcraft skills with The Lost Gardens of Heligan. In her spare time, Olivia enjoys creative writing and attending theatre shows. She has found it immensely rewarding to watch the children she has worked with flourish and grow as they discover their interests and talents.
