GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Josie McKeever

Josie began her education career as an English teacher in Tokyo where she fell in love with teaching. She then came back to the UK to work as a teaching assistant in a special needs school before going on to complete her teacher training through Schools Direct with PGCE at the University of Winchester. Since then, Josie has been teaching at a junior school in Basingstoke for 5 years.

In her spare time, Josie enjoys playing board games with her friends and family, watching the latest blockbuster at the cinema and going to the theatre. She also spends as much time as she can with her family on the South Coast taking the family dog for walks.
