GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Y4 Teacher (Da Vinci)

Charlotte Hobbs

Charlotte gained Qualified Teacher Status in 2021, having completed her PGCE at the University of Reading. During her teacher training, she completed two of her teaching placements at Floreat Montague Park, both in Year 4. Charlotte completed her undergraduate degree in Geography at the University of Southampton and is passionate about bringing her love for the subject into different aspects of her classroom and teaching.  

Charlotte loves travelling to new countries and finding out more about different cultures. She has recently travelled to South East Asia and interrailed around Italy. Charlotte is a great lover of reading and sharing a story with the children in her class is her favourite time of day. She loves to explore different worlds through both adult and children’s fiction. Charlotte also enjoys running, long walks and visiting the seaside.
