GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Sarah Parkinson

Sarah began her teaching career in September 2018 after completing her Schools Direct with PGCE at Reading University and has been teaching UKS2 ever since. Sarah trained in years 1, 3 and 5 and taught for 3 years at a large primary school prior to moving to Floreat Montague Park. 

During her undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Studies, Sarah worked in a rapidly growing nursery and supported in a special educational needs school. 

Outside of school, Sarah enjoys spending her time socialising with friends and family and being busy with lots of fun activities planned. She loves going to music festivals and musicals and meeting new people. She is passionate about travelling, having explored Thailand whilst teaching English as a foreign language in primary schools in between her undergraduate degree and teacher training.
