GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Andrew Beaumont

Andrew joined Floreat Montague Park in September 2021 as a Teaching Assistant.  

Andrew studied Fine Art at Nottingham Trent University and following this became a Technician in Secondary and University settings within the Art and Design departments.  Andrew spent some time travelling and upon return to the UK, followed his passion in design and returned to University to study Three Dimensional Design, specialising in designer/maker and ceramics at the University of Plymouth, shortly afterwards he pursed a career in Commercial Industrial Design. 

Andrew is returning to work after spending two years looking after his two young daughters who are also starting their school journey at Floreat. He is passionate about how children learn and is keen to use his experience to inspire learning in a primary school setting. 

Outside of school Andrew maintains an interest in Contemporary Art, and enjoys long distance running and spending time with his family.
